1.When the videos are extremely short:

Generally, YouTube intros run for 5-10 seconds. The primary motive behind adding them is to tell your viewers who you are and what you do. But if you want to create videos of short duration (under 1-2 minutes), there is no need to use a YouTube intro as it will only increase the length of your videos. You may want to keep your videos short to ensure that your viewers actually watch the entire thing. Moreover, brands usually add short teasers when launching new products and would want people to stay till the end. In these cases, it is better to skip a YouTube intro.

2.Member-only videos:

If your videos are directed towards your present followers or members, you again do not require a YouTube intro and outro. This is because your members and subscribers already know who you are and what you seek to achieve through the platform. Watching the same YouTube intros and outros might bore them, and they may even stop following your channel.

3.Videos where YouTube intros and outros do not fit:

Adding YouTube intros and outros just to conform to the common practices on YouTube does not work very well. If you feel that using them affects the quality of your videos or that they do not add value to your content, do not use them.

4.Meme videos:

Meme videos are meant to be short and funny. Using YouTube intros and outros in such videos may result in losing all the fun.

Overall, you must use your judgement in deciding whether you should add YouTube intros and outros to your videos or not. They might work well in some cases but may be irrelevant in others. Even if you do add them, ensure that they are short and include a call-to-action.
